Valleys to Coast (V2C) Housing: MIP Works
Scope of works: Kitchen/Bathroom Replacements and Void Renovations
V2C was the first housing association in Wales to be formed by the large scale transfer of homes from a local authority.
Established in September 2003, V2C owns and manages over 6,000 homes in a diverse mixture of valley and town locations within the county borough of Bridgend.
In addition V2C provides management services to some 780 leaseholders.
Through our contract with Bullock Construction, Jefferies were involved in carrying out Kitchen/Bathroom Replacements and Void Renovations in a number of properties.
Due to difficult site access and minimal storage areas, Jefferies proposed delivery of kitchen units to our warehouse in Pontyclun. From here, the units are assembled within the warehouse and then loaded and delivered to site by our drivers for installation by our carpenters.
As we have been able to absorb this service within our rates, we have saved our client unnecessary site storage costs and reduced the risk of damage to the units.
In turn this actually benefits the tenant, as the units are delivered pre-assembled which reduces the time spent within the property.
