Jefferies was formed in July 2008. The majority of our work is based around the social housing sector and over the years the company has gone from strength to strength. We now carry out work across a broad spectrum of work including External Wall Insulation and other Retrofit works, Voids, Planned Works, Roofing and general building maintenance.
We employ a skilled local labour force from carpenters and plasterers to qualified electricians and gas fitters. Our works include full kitchen and bathroom replacements, electrical rewires, boiler changes, new heating systems, disabled adaptations, external insulated rendering and other retrofit works, general roofing, loft insulation and external environmental works.
We employ in excess of 100 skilled local operatives to deliver our work and through various partnerships this year, we will have completed works to over 5,000 tenanted properties for several social landlords across the UK.
We only purchase our products and materials from reputable, responsible suppliers and ensure that all nationally recognised standards for environmental control are adopted.
We source products and materials that have the lowest impact on the environment such as water-based products in place of solvent-based products wherever possible and we re-use materials wherever possible. We have a strong emphasis on recycling and ensure waste on site is separated. Where it cannot be re-used on other projects, we will recycle wherever possible.
It is our aim to limit the impact from our projects on the environment to as low as possible. Environmental impacts are considered at the start of each project and physical and procedural controls are implemented to achieve our goals.
